Mon’Yea Stanley - Treasurer

Role & Board Duties

As Treasurer, Mon’Yea Stanley oversees Beyond Pathways 2 Prosperity’s financial health and fiduciary integrity. She is responsible for monitoring budgets, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources and transparency for the Board of Directors and funding partners. Her role supports sound financial decision-making as BP2P scales programs, property development, and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Her professional experience spans property management, production operations, customer service compliance, and workforce leadership—roles that require precision, ethical judgment, and disciplined financial practices. Currently pursuing an Associate degree in Business Management. Mon’Yea plays a critical role in helping BP2P maintain fiscal discipline while aligning resources with measurable program impact and community trust.

Olivia Moore -Vice Chair

Role & Board Duties
As Vice Chair, Olivia Moore supports the Board Chair and assumes leadership responsibilities as needed. She assists with governance oversight, committee coordination, leadership continuity, and strategic alignment, helping ensure stable and mission-driven board operations.

Olivia Moore is an educator, agricultural leader, and community advocate with deep experience in youth education, sustainable food systems, and farm-based learning. Her work spans agricultural instruction, community seed initiatives, and educational leadership, emphasizing access, self-sufficiency, and hands-on skill development. Olivia brings a grounded, land-based and educational perspective to BP2P’s work in workforce readiness, life skills, and long-term stability.

Shafeeqa Small — Secretary

Role & Board Duties
As Secretary, Shafeeqa Small is responsible for maintaining BP2P’s official records and governance documentation. She ensures accurate board minutes, manages organizational records, tracks board terms, and supports compliance and regulatory requirements—preserving transparency, continuity, and institutional integrity.

Professional Bio
Shafeeqa Small is a People Ambassador, lover of innovation, and champion of aligning ability, skill, and capacity for growth. With more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources solutions, she specializes in sourcing, full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR infrastructure, talent acquisition, and human and group dynamics.

Her professional experience spans local and global markets including San Antonio, Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City (MO & KS), Dallas, and international environments such as the Bahamas, the Philippines, England, India, and Canada. As an African American woman raised in a Jamaican/Southern household, Shafeeqa brings a culturally grounded, holistic, and people-centered approach to leadership. Her background in team sports, entrepreneurship, and holistic wellness informs her work facilitating strategic planning, organizational development, and sustainable growth.

She is also a certified Yoga Instructor and Holistic Wellness Practitioner, integrating mindfulness, visualization, and executable action plans into coaching, workshops, and team development spaces.

Satina Jones — Board Chair

Role & Board Duties
As Board Chair, Satina Jones leads the Board of Directors in fulfilling its fiduciary, strategic, and governance responsibilities. She presides over board meetings, guides strategic priorities, supports board development, and serves as a principal ambassador for Beyond Pathways 2 Prosperity. Her leadership ensures accountability, ethical stewardship, and alignment with BP2P’s mission as the organization scales housing and supportive services for youth.

Professional Bio
Satina Jones is an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist III at Kaiser Permanente and a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with the goal of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a dedicated professional transitioning from a career in Environmental Health & Safety into the mental health field, bringing a systems-oriented and wellness-based lens to her work.

Throughout her EHS career, Satina led initiatives in regulatory compliance, ergonomic assessments, employee wellness programs, and injury prevention—work that deepened her understanding of how environmental and occupational stressors affect mental health and family dynamics. As a future therapist, she is committed to providing empathetic, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and families. Her interdisciplinary background allows her to bridge environmental, emotional, and relational well-being in both governance leadership and community impact work.
